Motherhood: All Love Begins and Ends There
Mother’s Day is a celebration of honor to mother, motherhood and maternal bonds. This exceptional day has celebrated in many countries around the world, and most often the second month of Sunday in May each year.
In the United States, a celebration of Mother’s Day began in the early 20th century. Millions of people celebrate Mother’s Day by giving flowers, cards or gifts to their mothers. Some children and dads wake up earlier than usual to surprise Mom, with breakfast in bed.
Does anyone have an idea about Mother’s Day?
The Lady named Anna Jarvis, who incidentally never became a mother, born in 1864. When she was 12 years old, she heard her mother “Ann Marie Jarvis”, praying that she hoped someone would start a memorial day to recognize the service of mothers renders to humanity in every field of life. Anna never forgot that prayer. Ann Marie’s prayer was rooted in her social and peace involvement in community work. She has started Mother’s Day Work Clubs in the churches of West Virginia, where she lived. Through these clubs, women joined hands and successfully addressed local health and sanitation issues that caused many child deaths.
In 1907, two years after Ann Marie died, her daughter Anna, started an aggressive campaign to establish Mother’s Day in the US. Within a couple of years, i.e. in 1914, it became an official holiday in the US.
The role of the mother in our lives is always different and precious than any others in our life. She never wants back anything from her kids instead she loves us with an open heart. As a child, we also love and care her from our heart but our love cannot compare with her. Mother is unique in this world in the life of everyone, as a living goddess who always takes all the pains of her child and gives love and care.
